This past April I was invited to attend the first annual National Association of Experts, Writers, and Speakers™ EXPYs award ceremony at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square in New York City. The National Association of Experts, Writers, and Speakers™ was founded to honor experts for their contribution to education, enlightenment, and business.
This event was incredible! It reminded me of the Oscars or Grammys. Best of all I was awarded the Speakers’ EXPY® for my achievements as a national speaker. WOW!
There was a mastermind event prior to the EXPYs award ceremony and I was asked to speak at the event along with several distinguished business men and experts from all over the world such as my friend best-selling author and business expert Brian Tracy, President of High Point University, Dr. Nido Qubein, Dan Sullivan of Strategic Coach, and Kevin Harrington of American TV show Shark Tank. Out of 120+ experts I was one of ten selected to give an “X-Talk” [a speech to help enlighten businessmen] and the room full of experts were asked to vote on the speech they liked best. After hearing so many incredible speeches I have to admit I was stunned, yet truly proud, when the room selected my speech as the best.
The speech I delivered was entitled “The Value of Mentorship”. I was awarded, a second award, the 2014 X-Talk Experts’ Choice Award for my speech!
I am truly grateful for all you that have supported me through the years, I would not be where I am today without you. THANK YOU!
